Pottery by Jennifer Murphy

I currently reside on Camano Island Washington where I am blessed to have a new studio. I am dedicated to growing daily as a potter and an artist. I truly love being a professional artist. My passion and attention to detail go into each piece. I have traveled all over, including my most recent 5-year residence in the Bahamas. My work is a representation of the places I have been and the people I have met along the way. I am lucky to share my life with my two dogs and my amazing husband of 19 years. I have been doing pottery off and on for 15 years and enjoy creating oil paintings. The knowledge and perspective I gained from painting has enhanced my offerings as a potter. My pottery is usually porcelain, but I do work with stoneware on occasion as well. Every pottery piece is fired cone 6 through Cone 10 making it dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food grade. All my work is hand thrown on the pottery wheel, hand carved and hand painted. I love doing pottery and I hope you feel it in my artwork.
